The VAMOS Ecosystem (Ecosystem for Autonomous Mobility in Smart Spaces) aims to make Finnish companies the leading solution providers in the global autonomous mobility and smart space markets. Artificial intelligence, data and software will play a key role in the transformation of the automotive industry. The digitalization of transport is creating a significant global market, of which Plugit is taking a share.
Plugit is one of the 14 founding members of the VAMOS Ecosystem. The other founding members are Cargotec, Deal Comp, GIM, Huawei, Kempower, Mevea, Murata, Nordic Inertial, Posiva, Rightware, Solteq Robotics, Unikie and VTT. The players in the VAMOS Ecosystem collaborate, compete and create solutions based on smart space technologies, electrification and autonomous mobility.
VAMOS aims to connect relevant technology and service providers with end-users, value ecosystems and OEM suppliers from different industries. The VAMOS Ecosystem will develop areas such as modularity, open interfaces and architectures, test-driven product development tools, digital tool chains and test frameworks. Involving in the VAMOS ecosystem is well aligned with the development and innovation work on the charging infrastructure that Plugit is continuously conducting in its software development and R&D activities. Plugit develops and innovates the charging infrastructure in collaboration with its customers, starting from the customer’s own premises to the entire operational area and transport hubs. Automation and digitalization, for example in the terminals of transportation companies, is becoming more and more popular. Collaboration with R&D players in different sectors and Plugits own in-house product development enables rapid adaptation to customer needs and market growth. It also strengthens our role as a technological pioneer. We strongly believe in our technology and will proudly export it in the future.
