Plugit delivers and operates charging infrastructure projects for condominiums, businesses, transportation and public sector organisations.
Founded in 2012, Plugit Finland has become one of the largest EV charging infrastructure companies operating in the Finnish market.
When we started to operate as the builder of EV charging infrastructure there was less than 200 electric cars in the whole country
Plugit provides complete turnkey solutions, including design, hardware provision, operations, maintenance and end-to-end software for electric vehicles across industries. Plugit also offers a fully-funded Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) product, where it funds the upfront capex and owns the EV charging infrastructure that it installs, in return for fixed availability-based lease payments from customers.
Together with large installed base and many years of hands-on experience managing multi-tier charging networks we have managed to secure strong market position and more importantly, the trust of our customers. The key for successful collaboration lies on total reliability and performance of the entire system, quality of the services and easy to use.
In 2021 DIF Capital Partners (“DIF”), a leading global independent infrastructure investment manager acquired a 71% stake in Plugit Finland Oy. DIF invests 100 million Euros in Plugit to expand their carbon-free transportation portfolio.
We are operating in 7 offices. Our HQ is in Pirkkala district area near Tampere. We are just about to open the new office in Stockholm Sweden.

NUMBERS
Plugit operates locally on building the public heavy-duty charging stations. They consist of our pro solutions like Hube high power chargers among other innovations. We know the market is growing rapidly on heavy-duty. Why? Simply because for businesses electric logistics is profitable business.
